Anonymous gameplay data
OFF by default. When you choose Generate with this option on, the Composer uses a small amount of information about the game and its collection settings to set up anonymous data collection for that game. Gameplay telemetry does not intentionally include names, email addresses, LMS account identifiers, university identifiers, or free-text responses. The data helps improve the games and understand how they are used. Research use requires separate review and approval. The game remains playable and local data downloads remain available if remote telemetry becomes unavailable.
Names, email addresses, LMS account identifiers, university identifiers, and free-text responses are not intentionally included in application telemetry.
Students can inspect supported game data using Download Game Data. Where supported, they can turn off future remote transmission in their browser. This does not delete records already accepted by the server.
