Move from individual markets to the national economy. The mission develops GDP measurement, inflation, unemployment, productivity, living standards, and the foundations of long-run economic growth.

Analyze short-run macroeconomic fluctuations through aggregate demand and aggregate supply. Students diagnose demand and supply shocks, inflationary and recessionary gaps, and the economy's adjustment toward equilibrium.
