Host the generated HTML file at a public HTTPS URL, test that URL, and then link or embed the game in your LMS. Graphs are embedded and Concept Reviews open from the Mastery Quests web library when recommended, so no sibling asset or review folder is required. Published answers are stored as hashes rather than plain answer indexes, adding practical answer-key hardening without requiring server-side hosting.
Deployment hardening
Generated games do not publish correct answers as plain numeric option indexes. LMS iframe deployment adds additional inspection friction while keeping the activity portable. This is practical answer-key hardening, not a substitute for server-side secure-exam infrastructure.

Before you choose modes
A generated Mastery Quest does not treat every mode as the same assessment with different artwork. The mode determines how questions are selected, whether targeted remediation may interrupt the run, and how strongly the post-run report is allowed to interpret the evidence.
Full adaptive practice
These modes use ongoing adaptive selection and can route students into targeted Repair, Bridge, and Retest questions when repeated evidence supports remediation.
Instructor assessment
Quiz is designed so it can function as an actual instructor-assigned quiz. It samples across the selected bank and planned difficulty range without turning early misses into weakness-chasing.
Short game modes
Fading Fortune, Risk & Reward, and Trial by Graph use broad cold-start calibration before constrained adaptive investigation. They do not create repair detours, and their reports remain explicit about limited evidence.

Faculty selections and generated question data are not sent to a Mastery Quests server. Generated games keep progress and run data in the learner's browser. Nothing is automatically transmitted; a results or CSV file leaves the browser only when the learner intentionally downloads and submits it through an instructor-directed course workflow.
