Class Answer Analysis Released

Instructors can now combine game-data CSVs from multiple student runs in Class Answer Analysis. See overall accuracy, compare topics and available learning objectives, find frequently missed questions, and examine the answers students selected.

Use the first-exposure and repeat-attempt filters to explore practice patterns. Download class summaries and answer-choice counts, or use Copy Class Summary to prepare editable feedback for your class. Response counts and game-run counts help put small samples in context.

Files are processed locally in your browser. The results can help you plan a class discussion, choose examples for review, and adjust instruction. You bring the teaching context needed to interpret the patterns.

· Question Banks · Development period: August–October 2026

Question Bank Expansion and Quality Review

The Composer library grew from 2,447 distinct questions on August 3 to 9,777 on October 8, 2026. Review addressed economic content, wording, comparable answer choices, plausible distractors, graphs that assess economic reasoning, explanations, difficulty, and adaptive remediation alignment.

The process was instructor-led and iterative. As the library expanded, problems encountered during gameplay and direct reading prompted targeted and then wider audits. AI-assisted screening and automated tests identified additional candidates. The instructor reviewed those findings, directed changes, and sometimes rejected automated recommendations. Corrections were then rechecked in the library, generated games, and faculty exports.

Revision records document 8,410 distinct question IDs receiving at least one instructional revision: 6,271 received content or graph-related changes and 2,139 received instructional-metadata-only changes. These are unique IDs across overlapping passes, including two questions later retired. Changes include stems, options, graphs, feedback, skills, instructional roles, and other metadata; a revision does not necessarily mean a question was economically incorrect.

At least 2,634 distinct questions have individually documented faculty reviews or decisions. Additional review occurred through gameplay, but its total is not independently verifiable. This is a documented minimum, not a claim that every question received individual faculty approval.

A separate 300-question faculty sample initially yielded 245 PASS, 53 minor editorial issues, and 2 substantive defects. Those results describe the versions reviewed before remediation. Corrections to the findings and related patterns subsequently revised 175 unique questions.

Read the Faculty Pedagogy Guide for classroom applications or request faculty question banks for independent instructional review.

Question Bank Audit Completed

A repository-wide audit of the Mastery Quests question bank has been completed. The audit screened 9,779 questions for structural integrity, answer construction, difficulty calibration, graph alignment, economic terminology, metadata, and preset consistency. A total of 273 questions were revised while 9,506 were preserved unchanged.

The audit placed particular emphasis on Legendary-mode question construction, including answer-choice cueing, overly descriptive stems, graph-reference wording, difficulty classification, and payoff-matrix alignment. Automated validation and regression testing were also expanded as part of the review. Targeted faculty review continues as part of ongoing maintenance.

Concept Review Sheet Audit Completed

A full audit of the General Economics, Macroeconomics, and Microeconomics concept review sheets has been completed. The review examined economic accuracy, instructional clarity, concept coverage, and worked-example consistency. It also addressed graph quality and distortion, alt text and accessibility, formatting consistency, terminology, and difficulty alignment across the collection.

Econ-nections Added to Games

Econ-nections has been added to the Mastery Quests game library. The mobile-friendly, quick-play economics classification game uses daily rotating puzzles designed for short review sessions and recurring practice. Students identify relationships among economic concepts rather than simply recall isolated definitions, expanding the library beyond the longer adaptive quest format.

Play Econ-nections or explore the Games library.
