Consumer choice, demand, and elasticity
The Labyrinth of Choice
Navigate preferences, indifference curves, budget constraints, utility maximization, demand, income and substitution effects, consumer surplus, and elasticity.
Launch GameMicroeconomics
Adaptive microeconomics practice built around consumer choice, markets, production, competition, and strategic market power.
Privacy: Current Mastery Quests games keep gameplay data in the browser and do not automatically transmit question-level records. If an instructor requires a downloaded results or CSV file, the student submits it through the course workflow. Read the Privacy Notice.
Domains
The collection moves from consumer choice and demand into production, competitive markets, and market power.
Consumer choice, demand, and elasticity
Navigate preferences, indifference curves, budget constraints, utility maximization, demand, income and substitution effects, consumer surplus, and elasticity.
Launch GameRestoration in progress
The next Micro domain is being rebuilt on the current Mastery Quests engine. It will join the collection as the modernization continues.
Restoration in progress
This legacy Micro domain is being restored with a modern external question bank, adaptive remediation, current game modes, and mastery reporting.
Restoration in progress
The final Micro domain will return as part of the same modernized collection once its content and engine migration are complete.
Adaptive engine
Mastery Quests does not use one hidden adaptive rule for every activity. Full-evidence modes, Legendary Mode, Quiz, and the short game modes use different selection and reporting rules because they produce different amounts and kinds of evidence.
Full adaptive + remediation
Question selection responds to performance, coverage, difficulty readiness, skill and concept weakness, and repetition control. When the evidence supports it, the engine can leave the normal stream for targeted Repair, Bridge, and Retest work before returning to regular play.
Adaptive challenge
Legendary remains adaptive, but its purpose is pressure-testing rather than remediation. It favors the hardest available material and does not interrupt the challenge with repair detours.
Limited-run evidence
Quiz samples broadly without chasing weakness. Fading Fortune, Risk & Reward, and Trial by Graph begin with broad calibration and then investigate emerging signals inside their eligible question pool. These modes do not use repair detours, and their reports remain sample-aware.
Collection note: The Labyrinth of Choice uses the current limited-run adaptive standard, including Trial by Graph. Future Micro domains will expose graph-only practice only when their rebuilt banks support it.
